Simon Packham was born and went to school in Brighton. He studied drama at Manchester University and spent the  next twenty-five years as a professional actor, musician (violinist/singer/ composer) and comedian.

He published his first novel in 2008 and has been writing ever since. He’s been married for 28 years, has two children in their twenties, an elderly cat called Pax, and lives in Horsham in West-Sussex.
